Quick answers

Is it new?

Yes — new, with manufacturer warranty.

How does the Saudi version differ from European, Asian or US models?

Same phone, but the variants differ in ways that matter:

1. Warranty: iPhone warranty service is tied to the country of purchase. A Saudi unit is serviced under warranty by the authorised agent inside the Kingdom; imported units are often refused local warranty service.
2. Model number: the Saudi/GCC unit is model A3525, part number ending in AH/A. Check it under Settings → General → About.
3. SIM: Saudi/GCC (and US) units are eSIM-only — no SIM tray at all. European and most Asian units keep a nano-SIM slot plus eSIM.
4. Camera shutter: Japanese and Korean units force a shutter sound that cannot be muted. The Saudi unit does not.
5. Network bands: band support varies by variant; some imported units miss bands used by Saudi carriers, which can mean weaker coverage or speed.
6. Resale: the Saudi unit costs more up front but resells higher — shops check the variant before buying from you.

This device is a Saudi unit (A3525), and you can verify it yourself before paying.

So there is no SIM tray?

Correct. The iPhone 17 Pro Max sold in Saudi Arabia is eSIM-only — you move your STC, Mobily or Zain number across digitally in about two minutes, and you can run two eSIM lines at once. That is Apple's own policy for the Gulf and the US, not something specific to us.

What is in the box?

The phone and a USB-C cable. Apple ships no charger — sold separately.

Why is it cheaper?

Special price on a limited batch. Same device, same warranty — SAR 449 below the eXtra price.

Can I verify before paying?

Yes. In Jeddah you see the device and check the IMEI before paying.
